Statement from Anthony Foxx:

"We have one city in which we live and a common future. Now is the time to drive the next wave of growth within our area. My vision has three major components: (1) strengthen and diversify our economy -- it’s in our long-term economic interest to do so; (2) make every part of Charlotte a great place to live; and (3) forge collaborations within our region and state to make headway on challenges like getting I-485 widened down here, closing the revolving door within the court system, dealing with our environment better and building a regional economy in which Charlotte continues to be strong. Our campaign motto is simple: “One Charlotte, One Future.” We're all in this together."
