Free Courts in Charlotte
Playing tennis doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Parks & Rec operates 36 tennis facilities throughout the city. The largest tennis facilities are at Freedom Park and Park Road Park where both courts offer 12 lit courts for all-day play. Charlotte Tennis Leagues
Whether you're brand new or have been playing for decades there are leagues in Charlotte to join that allow competition at every level.The largest of the leagues is the USTA's Charlotte Tennis Association. With nearly 10,000 members in the Charlotte area, the Charlotte Tennis Association's members have connections to private clubs, public clubs and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Parks & Rec. There is a $40 annual membership fee and varying fees by team to join in league play.
The Queen City Tennis League has over 3,500 members and offers seasonal league play in the spring, summer and fall. Participation in the league is free.
