The Course

Quail Hollow Country Club
3700 Glen Eagles Rd.
Charlotte, NC 28210

The golf course at Quail Hollow Country Club opened June 3, 1961 with the clubhouse opening in 1967. From 1969 to 1979 Quail Hollow hosted the PGA Tour's Kemper Open Invitational Golf Tournament. In 1985, holes 3, 7, 9 and 17 were modified by golf legend Arnold Palmer. The course underwent reconstruction in 1997 by Tom Fazio with clubhouse renovations following in 2000. In May 2003 the PGA Tour returned to Quail Hollow where the Wachovia Championships have been held each year since.

There will be four days of live televised coverage beginning on Thursday, April 30. All rounds will be available via satellite radio on Sirius XM radio.

Getting Around:

Quail Hollow Country Club is nestled in SouthPark, one of Charlotte's most affluent residential areas just south of the SouthPark mall off of Sharon Rd. If you have tickets to any days of the events be prepared to park and walk a ways to the course and don't plan on being able to go in and out.

Because it's in a highly residential area there isn't much in walking distance outside the golf course, so you'll need to rely on the snack bars and concession stands that are aplenty throughout the course.
