Team History
In January of 2011, Major League Lacrosse voted to add expansion franchises in Charlotte and Columbus, Ohio.
The "Hounds" moniker was chosen by a fan vote, beating out Legion and Monarchs. The option of naming the team "Carolina Hounds" over "Charlotte Hounds" was also presented, but "Charlotte" won handily.
Home Field
The team will play it's home games at American Legion Memorial Stadium, 310 N. Kings Drive.
