Black Friday in Charlotte

Black Friday is upon us and your area retailers are ready, willing and hopefully able to accommodate this frenzied push of holiday shopping. Here is a rundown of what hours retailers are keeping on Friday, Nov. 28, 2008.

The Malls

That's right. Carolina Place Mall is providing coffee and open doors to all people willing to camp out inside the mall waiting for their favorite stores to open, beginning at 1 a.m.

Participate in Midnight Shopping at the Mills. Mall entrances open at 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 22. The food court will be serving up post-Thanksgiving and pre-shopping fare beginning at 11:30 p.m. Prizes will be given away all day, but you must be present to win!

Every hour on the hour from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Northlake Mall will be giving away a $1,000 gift card to those selected. You can register the hour prior to each drawing and you must be present to win.
