The fall season and Halloween means family fun in a lot of different ways. For many people, visiting a pumpkin patch is an annual tradition. Charlotte does have plenty of locations to pick pumpkins, with many of the sites offering hayrides or corn mazes.
Many of these locations do offer special hours and pricing for school groups, so contact the site if you're bringing a class.
Some of these locations may have the pumpkins already picked, and you'll choose your favorite, while others will actually let you select one from the vine. Check the farm's website or call ahead to verify how your location handles this. It's always best to check with the sit anyway before you visit, as hours do change. For each location's website, click on the site's name. The majority of these farms do have other attractions as well, like hayrides and corn mazes.
