522 Moravian Lane
Organized in the early 1920's, the Little Church on the Lane was originally known as Myers Park Moravian Church and is the oldest church in Myers Park. The main sanctuary was designed by William H. Peeps, an Englishman who came to Charlotte from Michigan soon after 1900. The Moravians, a Christian denomination which has modern roots in German Pietism, were so skeptical about the church succeeding in Charlotte that they designed the original building so it could be easily turned into an apartment house.
Continue on Moravian Lane to Providence Road and make a right. You'll see the Manor Theatre across the street.
