The 2008-09 season is filled with some of Broadway's biggest touring productions including Chicago (Nov. 11-16), RENT (Jan. 21-Feb. 1), Frost/Nixon (Feb. 10-15), Burn the Floor (March 24-29), Legally Blonde (April 21-26), Oprah Winfrey presents The Color Purple (May 19-24), Phantom of the Opera (June 10-July 5) and Mamma Mia (July 28-Aug. 2).

Theatre Charlotte tackles large-scale performances with local direction and acting. The 2008-09 season includes Godspell (Sept. 11-28), The Last Night of Ballyhoo (Nov. 6-16), Shakespeare in Hollywood (Jan. 29-Feb. 8), Death of a Salesman (March 12-22) and The Full Monty (April 30 - May 17).

The Actor's Theatre of Charlotte

This local playhouse features local talent in Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning productions. The 2008-09 season includes Slut! The Musical (Aug. 7-23), The Lieutenant of Inishmore (Sept. 24-Oct. 11), Rabbit Hole (Nov. 7-8) and Seven Santas (Dec. 5-20).

Carolina Actors' Studio Theatre
