Located in Uptown Charlotte, the Blumenthal Center for the Performing Arts is the city's premiere venue for Broadway productions, Charlotte Symphony concerts, Carolina Opera productions and North Carolina Dance Theatre performances.

North Carolina Dance Theatre
North Carolina Dance Theatre was founded in 1970 and is the oldest professional ballet company in North Carolina. Widely regarded as one of Charlotte's premiere arts organizations under the direction of Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux and Patricia McBride, the company has attracted superb dancers and choreographers performing contemporary works as well as the classics.
