For over 50 years, the Southern Spring Home and Garden Show has been the first sign of spring for many Charlotteans. About a month before spring officially arrives on the calendar, this event showcases hundreds of vendors and professionals in just about any garden or home-related field. You'll find professional landscapers, nurserymen, interior designers and home and garden experts offering ideas, products, and resources for any level - whether you're just starting out or you've had a green thumb for decades.
The "Outdoor Living Building & Home Improvement" pavilions are packed with the newest innovations for your home, the "Living Green" pavilion shows off eco-friendly products, and the "Arts & Crafts" and "Interiors" sections have everything you need to "accessorize, personalize, and cozy up your home - inside and out." To top it off, the "Travel & Taste" pavilion will bring our your inner gourmet with wine tastings, food samples, and lots of goodies to buy and take home.
There's even a whole hall dedicated to "Kitchen & Bath, Building & Home Improvement." Hundreds of companies with their own experts will be on hand, to help you build or remodel your home. They'll answer questions and provide advice for windows & doors, flooring, heating and air conditioning, hardware, garage doors, siding, mortgages, decks, patios and pools and much more.
Of course, what would a show like this be without plenty of shopping? You'll find the latest trends in home decor, windows, rugs, art and accessories as well as plants for indoor and outdoor spaces too.
While the spring show is larger, it does have a counterpart in the fall: the Southern Ideal Home Show. Click here for more information on the fall show.
While the home and garden shows to tend to be the most popular, you'll find plenty of other hobby and trade shows in Charlotte - from the Southern Christmas Show and Southern Women's Show to travel expos, car shows, coin and other collectible shows and more.
