Opened in 1990, the Charlotte Knights stadium (also known as "Knights Castle" or just "The Castle") is the home of the Charlotte Knights, the city's minor league baseball team. It's actually located across the state line from Charlotte and is located in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The team has been working for several years to get a ballpark closer to the Uptown area, but as of now, no plans are final.
