Addie Rising

Addie Rising is a proud Charlotte resident with a over a decade's worth of researching, writing and editing experience. She currently works as a freelance writer and web editor.

For over a year, Addie has served as the calendar and web editor for Charlotte magazine where she stays on top of all arts and entertainment events that take place in the Queen City. Prior to that, Addie wrote, edited and produced content for Bizjournals.com in Charlotte, SportsLine.com in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., The Palm Beach Post Online in West Palm Beach, Fla., and the Pasadena Star News in Pasadena, Calif.

Addie majored in journalism at the University of Missouri in Columbia.
