Spraygrounds Open Memorial Day Weekend

Each Memorial Day weekend, five Charlotte area parks open up their spraygrounds for kids to cool off and run around in. The spraygrounds features water spouts, splash areas and a soft surface that are perfect for kids of all ages, especially younger ones who may be intimidated by swimming pools.

The parks featuring spraygrounds are:

Nevin Park
6000 Statesville Rd.
Charlotte, NC 28269

Cordelia Park
2100 N. Davidson St.
Charlotte, NC 28205

Latta Park
601 E. Park Ave.
Charlotte, NC 28203

Veterans Park
2136 Central Ave.
Charlotte, NC 28205

West Charlotte Recreation Center Park
2400 Kendall Dr.
Charlotte, NC 28216

Interesting. Five locations and all are within a 3 mile radius of Uptown. Apparently kids in the suburbs don’t get hot nor need to cool off.
