Veterans Day is a time when we all stop to say thanks to the men and women in uniform who help keep this country safe. Fortunately, there are dozens of Charlotte-area businesses that want to say thanks as well. On Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 (or on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012 in some cases), veterans (active duty or retired) can get a free meal at Outback Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Applebee's, Chili's, Hooters, McCormick and Schmicks, On the Border just to name a few! There's even a Veterans Day discount at Big Lots and Food Lion!
