Southwest Airline announced today that it will start flying out of Charlotte-Douglas International Airport in April of 2013. They'll be replacing AirTran,who currently has seven daily non-stop flights from Charlotte Douglas, to Atlanta and Baltimore. Southwest will have six daily non-stop flights to Orlando, Baltimore/Washington International, Chicago Midway, and Houston's Hobby.
