Kournikova To Play Palisades Tourney

The Championships at The Palisades has a new face this year: Anna Kournikova.

The former Russian WTA star has agreed to play an exhibition mixed doubles match at the Charlotte event which returns for its third season. The tournament features retired tennis greats Jim Courier, Todd Martin, Mark Philippoussis and Wayne Ferreira. Chanda Rubin has also signed on for the mixed doubles match.
