Charlotte's Real Estate Market Still Thriving
Wednesday December 26, 2007
Everywhere you look there are new homes being built. Houses continue to go on the market in Charlotte and there's a good reason. The Charlotte Observer reported today that Charlotte is one of three cities in the nation that saw increasing home values this year.
"Along with Charlotte, Portland, Ore. and Seattle posted year-over-year home price appreciation in October, with Charlotte posting the largest gains at 4.3 percent, according to the Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller home price index released Wednesday."
This is probably the single biggest reason that Charlotte's population continues to increase, with many people seeking greener pastures from declining markets like Miami, Fla.; Tampa, Fla.; and San Diego, Calif.

You are totally right! I moved to Charlotte recently because I heard this was a growing, friendly city! What helped me a lot was an awesome team of handymen and painters who got my house ready before I arrived, The Project Pros, at 704-530-7575. I highly recommend them!
